Entomologist Dr. Michael Nash presenting  “Remnant Vegetation Patches are
Important to Maintain Ecosystem Functions on Farm”

Insect traps have been placed on remnant vegetation patches around the area on various people’s property, insects that were caught in the traps will be on display on the night.  Dr. Michael Nash will speak about the findings and what this means for our area. He will also have hand lenses to hand out if you’d like a close up look!

A barbeque tea will follow Michael’s presentation.
Members are asked to bring a salad to share please. Everyone is very welcome to attend.
 
During the evening, the winners of ‘Feral January & February’ 2023 will be presented with
their prize.
