Information Evening - Dung Beetles
This meeting was held on October 16th, 2012 at the Spalding Town Hall Supper Room and was preceeded by a Bus Tour of the work group members have undertaken with Peter Andrews, using his principles.
Our Guest speakers on Dung Beetles were:
Dr. Bernard Doube, who was a principal research scientist with CSIRO for 29 years, and who specializes on research on Dung Beetles in Southern Australia, and
Linc Willson, who runs an organic grazing business on Kangaroo Island with his wife Ester, where they use dung beetles to turn cattle manure into fertilizer to grow grass. They also harvest and distribute dung beetles.
